Holidays @ 7:02 PM
Holi holidays
I was on a trip to Langkawi leaving 12Th May at 10pm Singapore Golden mile and arriving back to Singapore on the early hours of the 16Th.
After taking a bus from Singapore and reaching Kular Lumpur at 3am, we took a supper break at a Indian food store which serve decent food. Subsequently we took a 90Rm, 40mins taxi ride to the K.L airport which we patiently waited for our flight at 810am. During the waiting time, we had MacDonald's which i felt was expensive because a extra value meal cost 11Rm. Maybe its because i am in Malaysia that is why i expected better pricing.. haha
Anyway, we had our JA prank on the day dedicated to Alex Lim and his beloved white jacket which mysteriously disappeared and which he curse the person who took it with a nasty nasty curse which was hilariously funny. Anyway the curse was so powerful that Jeremy returned the jacket back. LOL..
Of all the days in Langkawi, the most fruitful day got to be the first. I had my virgin biking experience. It was quite fun especially because none of us suppose to bike in the first place. It was quite a sight seeing how our chief negotiate his way for 6 bikes for 6 'licensed' bikers. hehehe. Before Ting guan started his first 100m, he got his bike kissing another car in front. Which we later need to pay for 250Rm in damages to the shop, and Malaysian store being Malaysian store quote a higher price. It started with a 400Rm damages before reducing to a 250Rm which is still substantially higher than the supposed 150Rm in damages after we had a chat with the technicians who spilled the beans on the actual price.
Biking simply rocks my socks. It was an auto so its simple to ride one, with a twist of the wrist we were riding over 100km/hr, which obviously exceed any speed limit in Malaysia or Singapore. What adds to the thrill is riding at 4am on an almost deserted road, without helmet, under the influence of some alcohol with the chilling wind blowing on your face. Its a sweet thing to savour i will say.
On the first day, we went to the famous seven wells waterfall and took a slight dive at the top before the plunge and it was quite exciting. We also took a cable car ride up the second highest peak in Langkawi, where we were dancing among the clouds at 710m above sea level. Everywhere was white, it will be perfect if only it is less cloudy and we could see the sunset. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be. We were very lucky to catch the cable car because the last ride up the peak was 6pm and we reached at 5.55pm, and the following day 14th, the cable car will be closed due to bad weather being forecast. Truly lucky bastards we are. hehe..
On the second day we went to the beach and some window shopping around the more famous shopping areas of Langkawi. Personally i feel those shopping centers are really lousy to be shopping at. haha.. I had more fun at the night market at Kua town. I think it is the place we have the biggest crowd seen in days. Food is cheap and good. Special mention to a soup stall selling beef soup with noodles. Delicious!
The second night almost all of us puked and got wasted.. 34 cans of beer plus a bottle of jack Daniels sure took the sane mind out of us. haha.. Alcoholic beverages is so disgusting cheap, Tiger beer at 1.70Rm, the jack Daniels is 69Rm. The cigarettes are dirt cheap too, which explains why THE smoker of the group can be seen puffing his life away every time there is a chance.
Speaking of which i come to realise how taxing alcohol and cigarettes brings much more than revenue to the nation but also adding a little more consideration to people taking the extra sip or puff.
All in all, it was a enjoyable journey with the JA gang. I definitely look forward to the next opportunity we can do so. Next vacation - Japan!!

Lost in the stars @ 5:57 AM
Lost in the stars
Sometimes life can be so tiring and it wear you out so much that you do not believe so much has happened within such a short period of time.
It also can be semi-amazing if you think how come troubles always come find you in a shit load. The good thing is once it end, it is ends. Comparing to spreading these troubles out evenly around the year. It maybe a better idea if they come together actually, at least they all end together. Then again, why can't life be trouble-less?
The truth is to most people life has always been marked by its up and downs. Perhaps life will be less meaningful if it doesn't. Simplicity is a dream of the simple few, however these few might just be the enlightened few who know that it might just be the way to go. I don't know who is right or who is not, i just hope i can find my path soon.
It is in fact the time when my life is going through a rapid transition. It is also during uncertainty that true strength will show and the weak will crumble. After my endless ratter, i come to the conclusion i am really human. A weak existence that is so measly.
They say we are all made of stars but not all shine bright. May your burn brightly and hope you bring joy and meaning to yourself and everyone around. Maybe such shimmering light will bring you the glory, happiness and meaning of being alive.
Nobody
Name: Brandon
A broken bottle of liqueur,
Empty and stale without a single ripple.
Brewed in the forgotten year of 1984,
A spirit that none will tip to pour.
Lock up in a cold cellar of no summer or fall,
Maybe it has no right to ask for any more.
Will you buy it and bring it out to thaw,
Give it some warm or amore
