Sad robots of Garden of nede @ 6:13 AM
It is hard to decipher the human thoughts. We pride ourselves as intelligent creatures, perhaps superior to a certain extent. But it is amazing how foolish sometimes we are. As rational beings, the number of irrational choices we made are amazingly many. More often we are ruled by our heart and emotions than our rational mind. Imagine yourself walking in a shopping complex, on your left is the healthy though not tasty food store, on the right is the delicious and mouth-watering (so god damn sinful) food store. How many of you will turn left? At least most of you will take a second look on your right.
You must be wondering why I am writing all these. I am not so sure myself. I just want to do so, like the tons of insatiable wants that we humans possess. All of us are sinners because we are capable of thinking, processing and acting what we want to do. I cannot picture what the world will be like now if the original sin was not committed. Garden of Eden may still be around, you will not be reading this, and I will not be typing this. The world is a lush green, clear blue sky, clear water and everything au natural. But humans will be mere robots void of thoughts. Maybe we will be happier that way. After all that is what most people seek in their lives. But it is interesting that the definition goes in a weird direction as one age. Things seem much simpler when we were younger.
Has the world grown complicated or is it us that has lost the true meaning of happiness? Happiness should not be waking up the next day, looking forward to the end of the day, happiness should not be indulging in the hectic schedule of everyday work or assignment looking forward to your measly paycheck. Happiness should be much simpler. Something subtle, something we know is out there, not something divine or unattainable.
Have you found your happiness? Or have you slip on by?
Remember remember,
every night before slumber,
as well as every day till never,
that heaven should be a place on earth.
p.s
Weird enough that this is my post, fortunately I am dismal of what the world is like now and confuse of what is happiness is all about.
Nobody
Name: Brandon
A broken bottle of liqueur,
Empty and stale without a single ripple.
Brewed in the forgotten year of 1984,
A spirit that none will tip to pour.
Lock up in a cold cellar of no summer or fall,
Maybe it has no right to ask for any more.
Will you buy it and bring it out to thaw,
Give it some warm or amore
