THE BIG, the small, the Nobody @ 3:48 AM
I come to realize I have not written for quite some time. Have I been busy? Perhaps I was. For the exams? Not exactly. Think I am screwing up my exams this time round.
I went for my solo breakfast after quite some time, and sometimes when you are alone, you tend to see more, hear more, and feel more.
A little irony is that when you are with company, your world at that moment was actually a lot smaller than when you are alone. All the things seem to be enlarged and the world becomes bigger. A big world can be overwhelming at times. At such times, the world makes me realize how insignificance I am, like a grain of sand.
Take a grain of sand away from the beach, the beach still look the same.
However...
Put that grain of sand into an oyster, you may get a pearl. And suddenly that grain of sand maybe worth something. Out of nowhere, a nobody becomes somebody. How good that sounds?
Sounds like a damn joke.
I am no pearl.
